We have a common secured parking area, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and child wading pool. We also have a common barbecue and outdoor (covered) seating area.

The pools and Jacuzzi are typically closed for the period from November through March, inclusive and open from April through October. The parking and outdoor barbecue areas are open year round, but the barbecue are (which is outdoors) can get very cold in the winter months.

Each cottage comes fully equipped with all kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc. so you can prepare your own meals. We also provide towels, soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms. You will find fresh linens in all the bedrooms. We also provide you with a “welcome basket” of snacks, chips and a bottle of our Jardine Hills wine, all of which you are invited to enjoy at no extra cost to you.

Other than the included breakfast, these are “self-catering” cottages, meaning that generally the guests are responsible to bring their own food and prepare their own meals at Jardine Hills.

Generally we do not change the linens or clean the cottages during your stay.  However, if you expect to stay longer than a few days, fresh linens and cleaning of the cottages can be provided by our cleaning crew for an additional RON 70 (roughly EUR 15).

Yes, we have a small shop in the basement of the Pinot Noir cottage where we sell basic supplies and a variety of our Jardine Hills wines. A list of the wines and the corresponding price can be found on our website or in your cottage.

If you wish to purchase any of our wine or other supplies form our shop, please arrange this with Mr. Gigi Gales. We do have a POS on site and can accept payments for wine and supplies by credit card.

Because each of the many local wineries have their own policies on wine tasting hours, minimum number of guests, days of operation, etc. we are not able to organize this directly for you. We encourage you however to contact the wineries directly to try and arrange this in advance of your visit to Jardine Hills.

We have links to several of the nearby, recommended wineries on our webpage. If you tell them you will be staying at Jardine Hills, they generally can find space for you on their wine tours.

We recommend Ferma Dacilor which is only about a 10 minute drive from us and which specializes in fresh and traditional Romanian cuisine. If you let them know when making your reservation that you are coming from Jardine Hills, they can usually find a place for you. Other restaurants may be found in Mizil, if you check the internet.

Check the Experiences page of our website for a number of recommended activities near us.
